The Roshan Digital Account (RDA) is an initiative by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to facilitate overseas Pakistanis in opening bank accounts and investing in various financial instruments in Pakistan, including the stock market through the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The Roshan Digital Account aims to provide a convenient and secure channel for overseas Pakistanis to manage their banking and investment needs remotely.

Through the Roshan Digital Account, overseas Pakistanis can open both conventional and Islamic bank accounts with authorized banks in Pakistan. These accounts enable them to invest in a range of financial products, including stocks, bonds, and mutual funds listed on the PSX, allowing them to participate in the country’s capital market.

By opening a Roshan Digital Account, overseas Pakistanis can easily buy and sell stocks listed on the PSX, providing them with an opportunity to invest in the Pakistani stock market and potentially benefit from its growth.

It’s important to note that the details and requirements of the Roshan Digital Account may have evolved since my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, I recommend referring to the official website of the State Bank of Pakistan or contacting authorized banks offering the Roshan Digital Account service.
